TIRTA GANGGA
Tirta Gangga is a royal water park owned by the family of former Karangasem kingdom. It is situated in Abang village, Abang sub-district, Karangasem regency and about 83 kilometres from Denpasar. This famous water park was built in 1948 by the last king of Karangasem empire which was intentionally used as a place to rest. Tirta Gangga has extraordinary scenery of bathing and swimming pools and rice field in the surroundings. The area of this water park is about 1,2 ha divided into 3 (three) stages of land ranging from the east to the west. On the bottom and middle stages, there is an elegant fountain in the form of Nawa Sanga. Come and visit this water park as it is a nice place to escape the crowd.




PUTUNG
Situated in the north east on the island, Putung offers beautiful scenery of the mountain and the white sandy beaches. This eye-catching view is precisely located in eastern part of Duda village, which takes about 64 kilometres from Denpasar city. Putung village has thick green plantations in the surroundings and it is best seen form the high point of the area. Throngs of visitors come here to see beautiful dragon fruit plantations which become the major commodity in this village. As it is a bit far from hustle and bustle of the city, it is advisable to stay overnight and enjoy the local cuisine once and a while.




CANDI DASA BEACH
Candi Dasa is a famous tourist object in the eastern part of Bali. It is a seaside city which nestles on the edge of fresh water lagoon. Candi Dasa itself has lots of things to offer to visitors such as beautiful water lagoon, tranquil accommodation, and black sandy beach. The Candi Dasa Beach is a nice stop after having a long trip. Come and enjoy the site and try some local cuisine in a restaurant nearby. If you come from Denpasar, it will take about 1,5 hours to get there. Roads to get there are very good and there is no much traffic so that it is easy to get there.



KUSAMBA
Kusamba is a village located in Dawan sub-district, Klungkung regency. It is approximately 7 kilometres from Semarapura city or 45 kilometres from Denpasar. Kusamba village is famous for its beach and the factory of salt. The major activities of the villagers are fishing and producing salt. For those who are interested in seeing people to produce salt, come and visit this place and they will be very happy to show you how to make it. Visitors might be astonished seeing the farmers produce the salt traditionally. A long the Kusamba beach line, there are bunches of shady trees where visitors can take shelter and relax.




TENGANAN
Nestled in an isolated area of Manggis sub-district, Karangasem regency, Tenganan village is one of the most popular places in the eastern part of Bali. This is one of several ancient villages in Bali that attracts lots of customers’ attention because of its uniqueness. Tengenan village is well-known as its nick name ‘Bali Age’ which means original residence of Bali. That seems to be true as people who inhabit villages out of Tengenan village are Javanese inheritance. The Bali Age still retains traditional life style and pure Balinese culture. Lots of cultural and ceremonial activities take place in this village such as ‘Perang Pandan’. This is the most famous ceremonial activity which is held in relation to the celebration of ‘Sasih Kelime’ or the fifth month in Balinese calender. Perang Pandan is a fight between two men using thorny pandanous leaves as the weapon. Come and visit this place during day time and you will find a totally unique cultural experience here.




KERTHAGOSA
Kerthagosa is one of the famous tourist destinations in Bali with a high historical value. It is situated in the heart of Klungkung town, close to Klungkung palace. At first, Kerthagosa used to be a place to conduct royal meetings discussing the prosperity and social welfare of the people in Klungkung. However, soon after the war against Dutch colonials Klungkung Kingdom was defeated and the Dutch took control over the area and used Kerthagosa as a court of justice. Out of that, Kerthagosa has an extraordinary sight of which in the ceiling of the building, there are lots of paintings telling about causal connection (causal low).
